- Q: How long does it take to implement a prepaid debit card program?
- A: There are many factors that determine the length of implementation. Banking setup and approval as well as card and network setup are all handled for you through our partners. The longest part of the process is approval of the card design and production of the card. Find out more about prepaid debit cards at www.achievacard.com
- Q: How do I create new cards for participants?
- A: Enrollment is a two step process. First you upload a file with participant information and the system verifies the file. Duplicate enrollments are blocked by disallowing uploads of the same file name. Verified records are marked as pending. You can edit or delete pending records or upload more records which will be added to your pending queue. When you are satisfied with your pending enrollments they can be transmitted to the processor. The system verifies you have enough cards in inventory before allowing a transmission. The processor charges a per file fee to setup production of your cards so be sure to consolidate your enrollment files as much as possible.
- Q: Is there a fee to upload a funding or enrollment file?
- A: No. You can upload as many enrollment files as you like. These files are all combined together when transmitted to the processor. There is only a fee to transmit the file to the processor.
- Q: How long does it take for participants to get a card after I transmit a file?
- A: Card numbers are generated in real time as the file is transmitted. It takes about 3 seconds per record to transmit a file and new enrollments can be funded immediately. Physical card production starts the next day. It takes 5 to 7 business days for a participant to receive their card.
- Q: How do I fund cards?
- A: The funding process is a two step process. First you upload files and the records are verified by the system. The system automatically stops duplicate funding by disallowing uploads of the same file name. Verified records are marked as pending. You delete pending funding records or upload more files. New uploads are added to the pending funding queue. Once you are satisfied with your funding queue you can transmit it to the processor. You must have available funds equal to your pending funding queue to transmit a file to the processor.
- Q: How long does it take for participants to get funds after I transmit a file?
- A: Funds are available immediately after the file is transmitted and confirmed. It takes about 3 seconds a record to transmit a file.
- Q: Is there a charge to send a funding file?
- A: No. However you must have available funds in your account to fund cards.
- Q: How do I get money into my account to fund cards?
- A: During implementation you will be given your own DDA account. You can wire funds or send checks to be deposited. When ever you send funds to the DDA account you fill out a form online so that someone from our accounting department knows to look for the funds. Once accounting clears the funds they confirm your request and the money is available for you to fund participant’s cards.
- Q: Can I look up an individual card holder?
- A: Yes. RewardTrax allows you to look up card holders and view their information. You can see their mailing information and how many cards they have from the card holder screen. Each card is clickable and shows a card view screen that includes a real-time card balance and funding history for that card.
- Q: Can I load funds onto individual cards without uploading a file?
- A: Yes. Instead of a file you can fund cards one at a time via the card view screen. You must have available funds to fund a card. You can also use this screen to remove funds.
- Q: What reports are available?
- A: RewardTrax provides enrollment confirmation, funding confirmation, card holder funding detail reports and card holder funding and enrollment summary reports. All reports can be searched and grouped reports have a clickable index. All reports in RewardTrax can be exported to Microsoft Excel or Adobe Acrobat.
