RewardTrax Frequently Asked Questions
GENERAL | ENROLLMENT MODULE | SALES AND DATA TRACKING MODULE
CATALOG MODULE | PREPAID CARD FUNDING MODULE | ADVANCED REPORTING MODULE
- Q: Why would I need advanced reporting?
- A: Advanced Reporting allows you to specify hierarchal information about your organization and structure reports and access to those reports around the hierarchy information.
- Q: What is hierarchy information?
- A: Hierarchy information describes the structure of your organization and/or supply chain. For example you may have your organization broken into territories and each territory broken into a region. Hierarchal information describes each organizational entity and their relationships to each other in an abstract way.
- Q: What types of relationships can I specify?
- A: Relationships are always parent-child. RewardTrax allows each child to have its own children entities. At some point an entity in the hierarchy will relate to a participant either through a dealer or directly. In the example above: Each participant belongs to a dealer. Each dealer belongs to a region. Each region belongs to a territory. Each territory belongs to a division.
- Q: Can RewardTrax filter reports and grant access based on hierarchy?
- A: Yes. Reporting and access based on a parent entity will include information about that entity and all its descendants in the hierarchy. The administration module allows you to create administrators that have access to only certain hierarchy entities.
- Q: Are dynamic reports available?
- A: Currently this feature is in development and will be available shortly as part of the Advanced Reporting Module.
